This movie is annually shown at secular schools & colleges, to make students think that creationists are not trustworthy. That’s not education, that’s INDOCTRINATION, Soviet-style!

I’m sorry, but this movie is an absolute PERVERSION of what really took place. In REALITY, things were quite the OPPOSITE from this film. The creationist (Bryan) had a kind character, & the evolutionist (Darrow) had a mean look. But in this movie, the CREATIONIST has the mean look while the evolutionist has the kind character. I dont understand why the present world enjoys twisted & distorting events to support their arguments.

…and dangerous (because people will use this preconceived idea and “first mention”, and superimpose that on creation ministries and see them as mean, abusive, and stupid.)

It is based on a real trial and of course it takes artistic liberties like any “Based on a true story” film would to make it more dramatic.

I dont think anyone will assume creation ministries are this crazy and stupid and mean. As a christian, ive seen how they’ve demeaned themselves on their own.

I like how one guy says “it’s based on the real trial” and there are “artistic liberties.” 99% of that movie is completely opposite of what really happened in the trial. If anyone reading this wants some of that information, go to my website (listed on my channel), go to articles, and read “Evolution Pleads the 5th.” That’ll give you a deeper, documented, understanding of the actual trial, versus this corrupted perversion of the trial excused away as “art.”
